Normally you can get in the Bios, or setup how it is also called, with the DEL key or the F2 key right when the computer is switched on.

It has been a long time since I have messed around with the BIOS. Can you run me through the process of getting into BIOS when rebooting the computer? Thanks in advance.

Hard disks die slowly every three to five years. You said you did not change any settings on the bios. What error message are you getting?
