I am running XP and am not sure what service pack I have. The most recent program I tried to run was "Kid Pix Deluxe 3" by Broderbund. It's a kids art program. Also a the game "Candy Land". These are the only 2 I can find right now without my kids awake. I may have more tomorrow. Both of these worked many times before. We have had them a long time.

Thanks

The game has been used on my computer before and never had a problem. It is also a disk game not a downloaded game from the internet. This is happening with several games not just one. Any ideas. Thanks.

Hi there you have to look up the game online and see if the game needs updates or runs under windows in general. Also which version of windows is supported, 95,98, ME or XP.

I have been having trouble running some of my kids games for them on the computer. When I put the game in the disk drive and start it the following message comes up.

______________

16 Bit Windows Subsystem

The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the application.

______________

If anyone has any ideas how I can solve this it would be appreciated.
