| Where the electric cable plugs into, that is the power supply. When you open up the computer (unplugg the power first), you see it in the upper left hand corner, a silver box as big as 3 cigar boxes.

Hi Pat:
It sounds like you need a new power supply. Costs about $30 - $42 without labor. Please bring the old power supply with you to buy the new one. To put in a new power supply should not take more than 20 minutes.

| I have a E Machine only 2 yrs old with Wiindows XP and there was nothing wrong with it. But the next day I went to turn it on and it won't turn on. Can I fix it myself with a little help. I am a technical person with help. I can't afford to have a CPU store fix it. Is this major or not. I had no problems or virus before. Help Thanks. Pat Tatro
