Well I am not a man of a lot of words. So I am keeping it short. There are about seven search engine out there which bring you conversions. Big difference here I did not say TRAFFIC I said CONVERSION. People who buy. I do not care about the traffic, I do not care about how many people look at one page, I only care about conversions, people who buy.
Especially if you advertise in the reagion of up to $0.30 per click through you got to be very very carefull. There are a lot of autosurfs out there and a lot of third world countries who get $0.01 per surf. So over there people sit there and surf websites all day, getting paid one cent per website, staying there at least a minute or two, but they are easy to detect because they always stay on the landing page. A little insert here, what is a landing page?
For every search engine advertising you copy your website default page and make it default2 and default3 and so on. This way you see who comes from which search engine and when in real time. To see it in real time, you have to install http://liveperson.com or http://na.inquiero.com/Default.asp . With those tools you see where they come from and how long they stay and what they click on and where they go. All that you can of course also see with Google Analytics which is for free, but 24 hours later.
This basically reflects the probablility of meeting somebody descent (conversion) depending to which bar, hotel, disco or church you goto.
Experience: 25-50 click throughs one sale (one conversion)
WARNING: the worst one amounst them all is http://www.brainfox.com no conversions, lots of click throughs they really su...and I have a right to be upset because they pull out money out of your pockett give you traffic and lots of it but no conversion...nobody buys. So if you need lots of traffic but no conversions go there. Hmmm..is there anybody who needs that?
One click through even clicked on the chat and said ups they told me not to click on anything...what does that tell you!...autosurf or third word country employed to surf.
